Hey React Amsterdam attendees! π
To make sure you enjoy the conference on April 12 as much as you can, weβve prepared a quick guide you can follow to easily get around.
π₯ Getting to the venue
React Amsterdam Ferry
Special React Amsterdam ferry with a green flag with our logo will be cruising between 7:00β9:30 and 17:30β22:40. The point of departure is located right behind the Amsterdam Central Station.

Public transport
We recommend you install the local navigation app called 9292 (available in App Store / Google Play Store) β it is very easy to use and provides real-time updates on your selected route, should there be any disruptions or traffic jams.
From Central Station (Amsterdam Centraal), you can take the Metro line 52 to the Noorderpark Station and wall about 10 min from there to the venue.
Cars
We have 40 parking spots reserved right at our venue, and there are also parking spots available nearby.

Some things to keep in mind:
- Attendee registration starts at 7:30, followed by breakfast at 8:00. Registration will be open until noon, however, the conference opens at 9:00, followed by the first talk at 9:20 β please plan your trip accordingly to arrive on time.
- The last talk finishes at 17:30, followed by a food truck break. Your goodie bag will contain a token that you can use to buy food from any of the vendors.
- The afterparty at the Kromhouthal starts at 19:00. Feel free to RSVP on Facebook to let your friends know youβre going! If youβd like to bring a +1 whoβs not an attendee, you can get extra tickets for the afterparty on Eventbrite.
π¬ Online engagement
The official hashtag of the conference is #ReactAmsterdam.
There will be free wi-fi available at the venue but if you can rely on your mobile connection, we recommend you do so. We expect 1500+ attendees at the conference, and the signal might get spotty.

Quick version: All attendees, speakers, and crew are expected to behave respectfully towards each other regardless of gender, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, disability or tech choices. Harassment of others will not be tolerated and attendees who disregard our code of conduct will be removed from the venue.

The venue is wheelchair accessible and all-gender restrooms will be provided for all attendees.

The forecast for this week shows temperatures around 10Β°C, and itβs supposed to be sunny or partly cloudy with no rain. However, we recommend you pack an umbrella and warm clothes just in case.
